3 night stay in family room & en-suite shower/toilet. Breakfast included in price really filling. Excellent menu for evening meals and reasonably priced. Landlord/lady very friendly & helpful. Early start on last morning so substantial packed lunches left for us instead of breakfast. Would stay again.

We booked a bargain, family room for £40 for 3 of us and I really didn't expect great things but was surprised. Room was clean and well equipped and staff were friendly and helpful. this is not a 5 star hotel or a travel lodge, its a character building is a small village. Lovely rooms and the food was great, would stay there again if i find myself in the area. Oh and free wifi as the mobile signal is crap in the area....

Was booked into this hotel by work. Best thing they could have done. One night stay but very clean tidy and all together place to recommend. Food very good but unfortunately I had to leave before breakfast so I was offered a packed lunch. Very good and nutritional. Fresh and proper meat in sandwich not processed. Would recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely stay at the King's Head. The staff were brilliant and we felt very welcome indeed. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast the following morning was excellent. We would happily recommend the King's Head as a well priced and enjoyable place to stay.
