Easy to find on the ring road, friendly and welcoming staff, good, clean standard accomodation and an excellent restaurant. Convenient for the Ferry or for sightseeing, although it is more difficult to find your way out than it is to get in! Thoroughly recommended, we will certainly be staying there again en route to and from the ferry.

A good place to stop off for a night or two - clean room with basic facilities. A bit old and probably in need of updating. Good location outside Caen, easy access to ferry or beach towns. A few hundred yards to large supermarket with associated shops/fast food e.t.c.

Part of the Campanile chain so a lot of things are predictable, such as layout, room decor etc. Free wifi is really useful and still not common in many French hotels. The hotel is typical of French budget hotels, the rooms are clean ( although no hair dryer). There is an excellent shopping mall a walk away ( or a longer drive), and it is a short distance outside Caen. There is an excellent menu, however it is not matched by the poor quality of the cooking.
