This is probably the most old fashioned travelodge I have ever stayed in. Very old carpet, gaudy decoration and dodgy old paintings. BUT the beds were comfortable, everything was clean and tidy and the bathroom looked newly fitted. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient, and we only paid £20 for the night. The hotel is in a great... More

Rooms are tired looking and mine was a bit smelly. I was a single female and I was given the very first room on the ground floor - didn't feel that safe. Staff are pleasant. Don't think I'll visit again.

Used this Travelodge as a stopover on way to Birmingham Airport and the position is convenient just off the M5/M42. Clearly an ex Innkeepers Lodge so the room decor was slightly better than other Travelodges. The receptionist was friendly & courteous but clearly English was her second language. The adjacent Toby Carvery was good value. They also do breakfast but... More

The location is great, near the motorway and amenities nearby. Having a Toby Carvery next door is ideal. The room was ok, and was warm, very welcome on a very cold night. The only problems we had were with water pressure and getting any warm water. So we had to go without a shower

This Travelodge is very old and tired. I was expecting a twin room but got a double, just as well I was with my daughter or it could have been difficult. The room was sparse of furniture although the shower was clean. the bed was old and very unomfortable. It was next door to a Toby Carvery, if you happen... More

Arrived at this hotel as the snow started to fall. Receptionist very keen to sell us Travelodge breakfast , how to get in to the hotel after 10 but omitted to tell us there was a door between the hotel and the Carvery next door. Consequently struggled outside through the snow into the carvery. Following day our room wasn't serviced;... More

One night at the Bromsgrove Marlbrook Travelodge was enough. Although quiet convenient for our purposes being within easy reach of a motorway network (M5, M42, M40, M45, M1 and M6) and Bromsgrove Station; for the price you get a very bog-standard very basic hotel. There are less expensive hotels with better facilities; granted, not many, but they are out there!... More

I stayed here for one night en route from North Wales to Teddington as it was a convenient location near the M5 and the M42. The friendly receptionist explained everything clearly. The Toby Carvery next door is adjoined to the Travelodge so you can get your dinner and breakfast there. Handy parking right outside the door. The room was very... More

Stayed at this travelodge for one night to break our journey south. On arrival there was no one in reception, however after ringing the call bell a very polite and helpful female member of staff arrived to check us in. Our room was quite spacious by travelodge standards, it was clean and had a newish flat screen tv. The bathroom... More
