Reception was quick and friendly. Rooms were clean and beds very comfy. No problems with noise. TV was very old and shower fixed head and poor pressure. Breakfast adequate. Nice view of small lake and 2 places to eat nearby. Easy parking and convenient location. Passage to adjoining pub where breakfast was served was dirty and full of broken furniture.... More

The staff were extremely helpful and the room was warm and comfortable. I would recommend the hotel to anybody that is looking for a place to stay in St Helens. Although the hotel is on a main road (A580) there is no noise from the traffic at all.

We have stayed at better Premier Inns than this one. The room was very tired. Bizarrely, the handles of the drawers had been removed and the drawers nailed shut. The television was very old and most of the plug sockets were blanked. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were friendly but next time I would try the Encore or Thistle.... More

Clean, pleasant staff, easy parking, all the attributes you would expect from a Premier Inn. Only problem was the noise from other guests. Not a problem up o midnight, but after 2am it was not good. Stayed one night at this hotel while we were away for a wedding. It is very well located (right near the motorway), it was clean and the staff were friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the region for either a stop over or a couple of nights.

Stayed a few times as a result of work. Hotel is ok, standard Premier Inn you could be in any of them. Bar ok next door, hotel staff good, bar staff not so. Breakfast is not great as you have to be served so differs from usual prem inn. Continental is self serve, stay clear of the coffee its grim
