I have stayed at this hotel several times and I have never been disapointed. It is old fashion and that what I like. The breakfast is always very good and with a lot of different Danish specialities. The hotel is located in the city center and if you get the room on the street side, you can have some noice... More

An old hotel from 1885 i think in the middle of Randers centre. Restaurants and shops just outside the hotel. Treet outside is only for walking, so no traffic. Peaceful and nice :-) Breakfast is varied and good and the service was excellent. A very nice hotel.

Visiting 17 cities in Northern Europe in 22 Days is not easy. However, my first stop was here in Randers. The first thing I had to do was enter the Hotel. The revolving doors into reception proved to be a little difficult to negotiate with a large suitcase and rucksack. However, the first impression of the Hotel was fantastic... It... More

This is a hotel steeped in tradition, with the charm of old world decoration and architecture, and also some of the disadvantages of veteran buildings. It's beautifully centrally situated, which does mean that early morning city rubbish collection can prove an effective alarm clock, and some rooms are large and opulent, whilst others are small and poky. My bathroom sadly... More

The last review stated that arriving to this hotel was like walking into a time warp. I couldn't agree more. I stayed at the hotel in 1997. Coming back here in 2013 actually nothing had changed. The reception and the rooms looked excactly the same. Only addition is a quite nicely designed new cafe, just adjacent to to the reception.... More

I don't really know what to think of this hotel, it's so very special, like walking into some kind of museum or time warp. I'm very interested in history and do appreciate old thing very much and therefore very happy that places like this are spared and not destroyed by unsensitive renovators. On the other hand I do long for... More

Stayed their last night in a single room on second floor (room 224). Everything rather old, which with carpet in the room never gives a good feeling. Bed far too weak and too short. No real bed sheet but just a kind of blanket on the mattrass - rather strange and also not very hygienic. Bathroom seems like from 30... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking your time to review Hotel Randers. We deeply apologize if our facilities did not live up to your expectations. This is a historic hotel, which also means that the room facilities are rather restored than replaced. Guests expecting the hotel to be new and modern will without doubt be disappointed. Only our café is... More

We LOVE Hotel Randers...always stay there when visiting family in Denmark. It is a wonderful hotel...a grand example of an old Danish "Provincial" hotel, which has been restored. It is situated right in the middle of town so you are within easy walking distance of just about anything. I'm sure the hotel has different room configurations, but we have always... More
