This is a gorgeous place. And inexpensive. We had booked for the wrong day but they had a room for us anyway. As other people have said you see signs for the parador and then loose them. Luckily we had looked at streetview on google maps so at least we did know what we were looking for. We parked in the under ground car park at a cost of 15 euros a night. As we had an Amigos card we had expected... More

Although this was the hardest Parador to find, it was worth the effort. We used the underground car park and walked everywhere around this old city with its famous Roman sites. The rooms here are pretty average, and can be a bit noisy, but are OK value. The staff are pleasant and the breakfast buffet is good. It has the bonus of parking although there is a high daily charge. However Wifi is free.

All paradors are five stars and while there could be the odd gripe with this one - as in it's probably in need of a little room redecoration (there were signs of damp) - nothing can affect that overall judgement when all is taken into account. Excellent hotel in a stunning setting. Staff are nice and welcoming, rooms clean and have everything you need. Right in the centre of town so park the car and relax.
