The Casmona is an average hotel with dated rooms and furnishings and the typical small bathroom. BUT, the million dollar view more than made up for these inadequacies. located almost on the beach, just a step across a traffic free promenade it is perfect. We had room 301 , plenty of space, plenty of wardrobes, drawers etc and a HUGE balcony overlooking the sea. Hotel Casmona and Camogli were magical! Room 302 had two sets of French doors opening on to a 15' by 20' veranda which overlooked the promenade and beach. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was excellent.

We had a lovely long weekend in the Casmona. The beach on your doorstep, amazing views, air con!!!, comfortable beds, hot water for showers, clean room, friendly staff who helped us with everything from tourist info to sterilising our baby bottles. The best position in town overlooking the seaside promenade. All rooms enjoy a wonderful sea facing view and are clean, tidy and functional with the hotel breakfast room overlooking a spectacular view of this beautiful fishing village. Camogli is my favourite place in all of Italy and the Casmona is the perfect place to stay.

While the hotel is ideally situated on the coast, the room was disgusting and in need of repair. Wallpaper was curling off of the walls and the thin carpet was apart at the seams.
