Yes it is a good located house very nicely decorated and yes some rooms have a nice view but what we missed most is the typical feel at home atmosphere (that is why we booked a quality b&b rather than a nice hotel in Portofino or the Cenobio dei Dogi in Camogli). Not at all an Italian mama feeling when... More

Excellent accommodation to a a very high standard. For those who like a good night's sleep in a comfortable ful-size bed, slightly away from a resort....this is it. First class restaurant advice. Everything that you might need for a Italian holiday. The Portofino area is very much worth a visit outside th tourist season. From Camogli you can travel around easily... More

That's how a B&B should be. Beautiful location, luscious gardens with pool, impeccably renovated villa and luxurious rooms with fabulous bathrooms. Mario and his partner renovated this gem for a few years with outstanding results. Beyond its beauty, what makes Villa Rosmarino so special is the attention to detail and the generous hospitality. Guests meet a breakfast and share tips... More

We recently returned from a one night stay at Villa Rosmarino and we're blown away!!Incredibly discreet, stylish, the villa is impeccably run by the charming Mario and Fulvio who are on hand to guide you through your stay in Camogli with expert advice on local eateries and watering holes. I know it's taken them a few years to get it... More

We arrived not quite sure what we would find and what we found was perfection! Mario (the owner) was so helpful with local information and he is also a great chef. We were lucky to be there on a night he was cooking. My only regret was that we were not staying longer but we will definitely be back again.... More

The house is immaculate, the room was modern and comfortable with good big shower. Great pool and lovely garden with different areas to sit in shade or sun and enjoy a glass of wine. Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh fruit. Best of all is the personality of the place. The hosts are very friendly and speak great english. They... More

Friends recommended we stay in Camogli on our way to the Cinque Terre, so we booked one night - unfortunately not long enough!!! Villa Rosmarino is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is very chic and modern inside, and tastefully decorated. Our room was just fabulous, beautiful view, loved the bathroom, and the bed, so comfortable. Mario and Francesca... More

Outstanding hosts, Mario, who owns the villa, and Francesca (ably assisted by Neville) will advise you on every aspect of your stay, walks, buses, trains, restaurants and a most amazing spot for watching the sunset ( with cocktails!). They will only tell you about the best experiences and as importantly, what to avoid. Multo gracie Mario! Your first walk down... More

Adore Camogli and Villa Rosmarino. The Villa Rosamrino is one of those gems. A relaxed atmosphere with gracious hosts who are smart enough to give you as little or as much attention as you need The villa exterior has the old world elegance, while inside, is a sleek, contemporary interior that is tastefully done and manages to maintain a warm... Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Built in 1907 over a pre-existing structure, Villa Rosmarino is a typical Ligurian small palace with green shutters and trompe l’oeil which reproduce on the wall frescoes, decorations and floral motifs. To its first owner, a local sea captain who commissioned the building at the end of XIX century, Villa Rosmarino was their country home where to take rests in between long seafaring journeys, but also where the olives coming from the trees and land surrounding the villa were crushed. In the ground floor was an old oil mill to produce olive oil for the needs of the resident family but also for those residing in the neighboring villas. The grind stones of the oil mill have been kept after the restructuring and are part of the decoration of the garden of the villa. ... more   less
