Amsterdam is far from the hotel. The hotel is far from the airport. The aim of the people working in the hotel is to work as less as possible. The room is very basic and wifi internet weak. I just needed a place to crash, and somebody booked the Bastion Hotel Schiphol Airport for me. It's just about a 5-10 minute ride, even though I didn't need to be there (but elsewhere).
