The hotel appears grand and the entrance hall looks good but the rooms fall short of expectations. Very old fashioned. We complained and were advised the hotel had been downgraded from a 5star to a 4star until it could be renovated, and that there was nothing they could do. The meal in the Claret Jug was nice though.
