My family and I have just spent our Christmas at Holestone and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were a party of 13 ranging in age from 8 to 83, all age groups were well catered for, our 83 year old grandma really appreciated the fully assisted bathroom, that really made life easy for her. The barn and stable are... More

Just came back from a four night stay at the Stables with our 18-month old toddler and had a brilliant time. The cottage was warm, very clean and incredibly well-equipped. Our hosts had provided tea, coffee and milk as well as a welcome cake, to have on arrival. There were board games in the cottage to keep the little one... More

Our three families took The Barns and The Stables to house the 13 of us for New Year. It was the first time all of us had been together for a long time and with children of ages ranging from 10 - 18 you can never be certain how the break will end up ! We arrived to a short... More

Thankyou so much for your lovely review. Thankyou also for your feedback. We know that Internet access is a problem; if it's any consolation it's even worse in our house! Our router is for maximum distance .. it's still a problem and we've been told it's because we're right at the end of the phone exchange! Vicki & Steve. 3... More

From the moment we arrived to a warm welcome from owners Vicki and Steve and an array of delicious cakes, till the moment we left, our visit exceeded our already high expectations. The rooms were beautifully furnished, we loved the themed bedrooms, and warm and cosy even after a very frosty night. The kitchen was very well equipped and absolutely everything... More

We've just had our third and [not] final visit at Holestone Moor Barns. We initially found it through Premier Cottages after sending for their brochure. The main marketing photo put us off at first - we thought we'd never get anywhere THAT nice. But after revisiting and looking at the HMBarns website we booked for a week in The Stables.... More

We loved our short stay at Holestone Moor Barns. There were just 3 of us - 2 adults and an 8 year old, so we stayed in the Stables. We didn't need to bring a thing. Everything was provided, from dishwasher detergent to extra bedding. It was lovely to know that there was a log fire to light if we... More

A group of ladies 8/9 of us have been visiting Holestone Moor Barn since 2004 for a long weekend each Spring, The Barn is so comfortable, so cosy in the colder weather, lovely log fire spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. Vicki and Steve are always so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We love the themed bedrooms with adorable cuddly animals... More

Easter 2008 At least once a year our family try to get together for a few days break. There are 10 of us from three years old to 74! So a suitable venue is not easy to find. This year's venue was a great success. I found Holestone Moor Barns on the internet and I have to say it lived... More
