We only stayed here one night as we have family nearby but there were too many of us to fit into the house! The enquiry and booking process was smooth and efficient. At reservation we requested that any feather items were removed from the room due to my husband's asthma and this was duly done. We didn't really get to... More

We had a wonderful family celebration here on the last weekend in October for my mother's 90th birthday. We were all very comfortably accommodated, the food was absolutely gorgeous and we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were great and very helpful. We all enjoyed a swim in the pool and a go in the hot tub (even the birthday granny).... More

We were only able to stay for one night but we really wish we could have stayed for longer. We had 2 rooms side by side for ourselves and our 2 children and it was perfect. The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Our only suggestion would be to add shower curtains if possible so that the bathrooms don't get... More

We stayed for one night with a dog, we used the pool and had an evening meal and breakfast. We think this is a delightful hotel and the best part was the food - delicious three course meal and at a good price. Yes, its no frills with butter in little packs and at breakfast we were given the sauce... More

Very nice reception and bar area. The grounds include a small lake, and gardens. New accomodation being built, has views of them as the main hotel doesn't. There are also several rooms in a small complex which has attractive planting, seating areas and mosaic wall decorations. Our room was quite charming in a country cottage style. There were 2 bedrooms;... More

Some rooms are external to the main building and more like small holiday cottages which for a family is ideal. The food is very good without being too rich or over-filling - important when you are staying for a few days. Breakfasts are delicious and very well cooked. Children's meals are prepared to order and are fresh wholesome food -... More

As soon as we arrived we were made very welcome. We were orginally only booked for one night but the kids fell in love with the surroundings & the room, so we stayed for an additional night. The room was clean, comfortable and really spacious. Excellent amenities for anyone who is disabled. Swimming pool is a good size, very clean... More
