Stayed in Canberra for 3 nights. The Forest apartments was a good place to stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and this was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Manuka is close to the city attractions. There is a nice park opposite, tennis courts next door and shops close by. Overall had a great stay in Canberra.

Spent last weekend in Canberra, catching up with friends. Through a great deal on wotif, booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Second visit to this complex and we will stay again. Easy walk to the great eateries in Manuka.

I loved our room. We booked a twin room for 2 nights, and got a triple room instead! There was a big flat screen TV, mini-fridge, complimentary biscuits, bowl of fruit, bottles of water, etc that were refilled & refreshed during our stay. Good location to nearby embassies and all the icons of Canberra ! You do get a cheaper price by booking online for the last minute deal. Ok if you are after a cheap budget room, but don't expect too much. Pretty small rooms, and not exactly new or modern decor. Fine though for short stopover. There is a restaurant there, but didn't eat here so don't know if any good or not.
