Upon arriving at the Marriott on May 1st, 2013, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff and after telling them about our 2nd Anniversary, she gave us a second upgrade (1st upgrade was due to being a Gold Member) as well as access to the Executive Club. Furthermore, the Concierge was extremely helpful and when asked about Cinco De Mayo... More

This Marriot is not perfect, it could use some renovation and it feels a bit dark inside. But the service is so much better than everything around! And the price is so much better... The rooms are nothing spectacular, but they are very functional, with full amenities, good bathroom, good bed, etc. Great location too. In my opinion, if you... More

This Marriott is a nice hotel. It is in an excellent location, the rooms are very clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the hotel staff was really accommodating and helpful. My husband and I showed up early after a long international flight, and the staff in the execute lounge (Carletta ?) was so nice to us and made sure that we... More

Good hotel but Sydney has gotten expensive. Nothing special about this hotel but the location is great. It is right in the downtown and you can walk to the Rocks (lots of good restaurants), the opera house, the gardens and the circular quay ferry. I worked over near Manly Bay so took the 30 minute ride over there for $7... More

Just a very short walk to Circular Quay which is a great place to start when visiting Sydney. All basic hotel requirements are met at this hotel. Staff are well trained and efficient. A professionally run hotel that is well sited for business or leisure.

Sydney is a very expensive City so we decided we may as well have a central hotel with a view. When we arrived we were concerned as the Marriott is dwarfed by surrounding buildings and we feared we would not have the view we requested. We need not have worried as we had a very good view of the Quay... More

For probably the most expensive City in the World it was a treat to be so centrally based and within walking distance of all the major attractions. The hotel itself is a little dated but the staff really are excellent even if getting WiFi is almost impossible! The concierge was fantastic and really helped make our time in Sydney. We... More

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is very near to the rocks, opera house, harbour bridge and botanical garden etc. Have been stayed here in May 2013 for few days. I arrived at this hotel in the early morning around 7am and able to have early check in. I'm able to get a high floor room with harbour... More

Pleasant hotel. Well appointed hotel in a very central location. Quiet room had two queen beds which perhaps crowded it a little, but all one would expect from a top class hotel. Efficient staff though need more staff at checkout time early morning. WiFi was an extra - should be free. Recommend consider other options before using the valet parking... More

As a frequent user of Marriott hotels I may be somewhat biased about the overall excellent quality of their properties. Their hotel at Circular Quay is in a excellent location just a 1/2 block to the harbor. It is a great locale for access to the Opera House, Sydney Bridge, the Rocks and all of the harbor excursions. When my... More
