Beautiful rooms - really big!
Comfortable bed and nice big bathroom.
Toilets are really noisy though, so make sure you don't flush in the middle of the night!

The hotel is a very modern renovation of what I presume was an old warehouse or something similar, but somehow the hotel just didn't seem to have a 'personality'. The rooms were straight forward and functional, but the one aspect that really put me off was the loo which flushes with a sonic boom just like an aircraft toilet! Having...

I enjoyed this hotel. I think that the staff have been well trained and they seem to be able to do lots of different things in the hotel which means they are really ready to answer your questions.
The location was good and the places to eat around the hotel were also good quality.
We will go back when we...

Held a business function here last year and never saw any member of the function staff the whole time. Service staff were quite disorganised and the function room allocated wasn't even up to par (ie, sound system poor, lighting wasn't great, etc).
It seemed that the hotel was only relying on it's great location and harbour bridge view to get...

The Sebel Pier One is in one of the best spots in the whole of Sydney, right on the harbour next to the iconic bridge. Although the rooms are minimalist they are very well done and very comfortable. It is only a 5 minute walk to the rocks but for a quiet drink the hotel's own bar was very reasonable...

I stayed at the Sebel Pier One for 2 nights over a weekend. The staff were friendly. The location is great - directly under the Harbour Bridge, very well located if you want to see the major sights on foot. Also a great place to stay to be near the Rocks. It is a short walk to Circular Quay/the Rocks...

Stayed there for a week on business. The room was nice and clean. The service was fabulous and the location was perfect. The breakfast buffet was very good. It is pricey but everything in Sydney is a bit pricey - this was worth it.

Stayed in Dec 2010 before a cruise. The room wasn't ready when I got there and I was made to wait an hour. (did give my daughters and I a drink in the bar) Sadly the room was well poor value. Basic and overrated. The window in the room was so far up the wall I couldn't see the 'view'...

Gorgeous hotel and wonderful location.
Service is acceptable without knocking your socks off.
Rooms are interesting. Thoughtfully decorated, akin to a stylish boutique hotel. Bathroom certainly has the wow factor, with floor to ceiling mirror and those roilets. Negatives were lack of natural light and small window ( think building is heritage so limited in adjustment that can be made)....

Decided last minute to take a nights break to coincide with family returning from a cruise. Decided that the Sebel had the best deal and location to watch the ship arrive in the early wee morning hours. As we had driven we needed parking - no problem. Were met on arrival, valet whisked car away and checkin was one of...
