Excellent value for money. Super location, wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Bed very comfortable with down underlay layer on mattress. Room a tad dark. Close to the strip, but around corner and away from noise. Good restaurants close by. Within walking distance of art gallery, circular quay etc.

Outstanding location if exploring Kings Cross/ Darlinghurst or going into town or Eastern suburbs. Excellent service from all staff. On check in room key did not work, and we quickly were moved. Rooms are spacious and well laid out. Would stay again if in area.

Let me start by saying that the staff was very nice. The rooms however had little to be desired. The rooms are VERY dark. Black everything, I'm assuming to cover the dirt. The showers had mold. The room smelled musty. I would not recommend this hotel.

Been staying at the Diamont 2-4 times a year since opening. Use this as a place to visit when I'm in Sydney for a fun time with mates and dining, dancing etc.. No complaints at all... great value for money, very helpful staff, top location... definitely will return. Yes it's in the Cross, but it's tucked away in quiet street away from all of the action. The rooms are looking a little worn in some parts, but the comfy bed more than makes up for it.
