Stayed here with friends, it was a great hotel and had every thing we needed for the price. The location is in the heart of town so everything can be easily walked to. We had to meet our friends at the train station, so was really easy to simply walk to the hotel from there (it's the closest hotel I... More

The only place to stay while in Wagga Wagga. Very clean rooms, restaurant and bar on site. Close to all amenities. Friendly service and great choice of food at the restaurant. As a Sales Rep it is a great place to stay. I prefer to book in advance as they are always busy.

We enjoyed a nice Pub style Lunch at Thomasinas Restaurant on Monday 04.03.13. Walls in the dining area have some very interesting Historical photo prints. Meals were very reasonably priced from their daily 'blackboard' menu and service from staff was friendly, prompt and polite. We've eaten here regularly quite a while ago and still enjoy eating here when visiting Wagga... More

Good clean accommodation. If you need a hairdryer you won't find one in the room, you have to call reception. Very noisy from other patrons all night. Dined at the restaurant and had a lovely meal with our friends traveling with us. Close to main street shopping centre.

I made this trip with my husband to attend march out at Kapooka Army Base at Wagga, we stayed 2 nights, accommodation was very clean and adequate. Was hot and airconditioner worked well. If you are here just for a bed for the night passing through or attending march out this place is excellent. The rooms are small but comfortable.... More

I travelled here to see my partner who is in the army. I was a bit nervous as it was my first solo trip. However, it was a great experience. I was greeted by friendly staff, who were able to help me out with many questions. The room was very small, however, for the very low price that I was... More

How do I start without appearing negative? As I opened the door to take my wife out for a lovely meal on a Sunday night, I was greeted by a lovely young waitress who asked, "Do you have a reservation?" I scanned the room and counted eight people, and not wanting to appear rude, replied, "No. Is that a problem?"... More

We had our son's March-out a couple of weeks ago and stayed at the Astor Inn. The train station where the Recruits are dropped off by bus is just at the back of the hotel, this where a lot of the Recruits' parents meet their son/daughter in Wagga and also where a lot of the parents/families say goodbye. I can... More

My husband and I stayed here for our daughters March Out in April and could not have picked a better spot. We booked a double and while we found it very small it was exceptionally clean and lets face it we were only there to sleep, the rest of the time was spent out but if you were going to... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Astor. Quaint but comfortable room - all the necessary inclusions. WiFi available but not free. Limited Foxtel channels. Well located to the main street and railway station. Excellent restaurant on site called "Thomasinas" - but close to so many other choices. Staff were great - friendly and helpful. Great value at A$89/night. We would... More
