this resort has suffered from a recent fire-one of the restaurants remains closed months later. the staff were very friendly-the main attraction is the local national park which is stunningly beautiful-but several of the staff new little info about the trails in them. the rooms were clean but run down-for the price charged this place needs a makeover. the food... We stayed in the budget accommodation. Room is spacious and clean. It has great view of the Kings Canyon. Common areas such as kitchen, bathroom and toilet are disappointing. The kitchen do not have any utensils and you have to hire them. Toilet and bathroom are built for tropical environment. It is freezing cold in winter. When we were there,... More

Considering the remoteness of this resort the experience is good. We stayed in a luxury spa room which was spacious and pleasant, although I do not know why the spa faces outwards with no window coverings! You would have to be pretty exhibitionist to use it! We were cold on the first night, with only two thin cotton blankets provided,... More

our accommodation was very clean and comfortable, we had camped for a few days and was very appreciative of the well appointed comfortable room. The Outback BBQ, bar and bistro was all very good. I did feel the Bistro lunch menu very limited. Was very well entertained by The Roadies, fantastic people.

We had booked a campground cabin and when we arrived we were offered a spa suite for an extra $60 which was considerably less than the normal price and we happily paid for the upgrade. The room was clean with a lovely view and the spa was really nice. HOWEVER, when it comes to dining, don't be fooled by the... More

Our room was quite spacious and clean and we were able to enjoy a good night's sleep with very little noise from adjoining rooms. Our only complaint was that when we arrived there at 1:45pm after a 4 hour drive from Uluru we were told to go and take a walk at Kings Canyon as our room was not ready... More

This resort is in the middle of nowhere and has almost no competition around it. The only reason anyone stops there is to hike King's Canyon. As a result, I did not expect any sort of luxury, even for the (understandably) high prices. That being said, even my low expectations were not met. First thing I would note is that... More

Room was clean and large, and the hotel is in the middle of the wild area. BBQ was delicious but expensive. Staff was friendly and live music was nice. Best place in our Alice springs-King Canyon- Uluru trip, definitely recommend

Overall was pleasantly surprised by our room - comfy beds, fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, TV (but only 1 channel) & a generously sized bathroom with good amenities (shower gel, shampoo, body lotion). Considering that its in the middle of nowhere - everything worked well. There's a swimming pool (which looked a little slimy) but seeing that its winter, no one... More

The room was more than decent and very comfortable. Getting a late checkout was no problem which was a bonus. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so there was only one place to eat at night which was a 5min walk from my room. The food was expensive but quite good. TV reception is limited to one channel.... Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay at Kings Canyon Resort. I am happy that we were able to offer a later checkout to you. This is something we can do where room availability allows. The television service here has recently received an upgrade to offer more channels through the VAST free satellite service. This expansion will be... More
