Hostel is run down looking. My room was large however, bunks shook a lot. They gave out hair straightness and dryers for a $20 deposit, which you got back...nice treat when been travelling awhile. This hostel isn't like the usual standard of Base hostels. It's run down, the rooms and corridor smell awful and the ceiling in the corridor was leaking, god only knows what was leaking through it.
