My boyfriend and i stayed in a standard apartment for 6 days. Pretty nice rooms, felt almost like home. Washed almost all of our cloth after travelling for one month. Nice view from 17th floor and great location in the heart of Brisbane. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. More

This is a residential facility that "tolerates" having short term guests the way bad "in laws" do. Nothing is put on for you and you end up being treated poorly. Now to elaborate..... We booked a two bedroom apartment to stay the night before a cruise. We've stayed at the Oaks on Felix before, and at a couple of the other Oaks properties too, and we were quite happy to stay there again. Oaks Felix is an apartment building in in the south of the Brisbane CBD. Central Brisbane is under supplied with accomodation, so room rates are often inflated. I have stayed in this hotel many times over the years. Desk staff are always helpful. Rooms with river views are the best - ask for an Executive One Bedroom unit - the second bedroom is locked off but can be unlocked if you have ocassional guests.
