Lovely staff. Go out of their way to help you. Loved the Australian BBQ night. Get to try crocodile, kangaroo, emu and so on all in one go. Felt instantly at home here. Also superbly clean. I have stayed in a few really bad hostels after staying here and it makes you appreciate the good ones like travellers! So so good. Really really chilled. And the most helpful and useful staff ever. Completely helped organise east coast trip doing amazing deals and just so so so hopefully. The best hostel I have stayed out. I would recommend tropic days as well the sister hostel.

We needed a place to stay for just one night while in Cairns before heading up to the Daintree, this was perfect. Withing walking distance to the main part of town, easy parking. Very helpful staff at check in. Our room was clean, the communal areas were quiet and well kept. Couldn't have asked for more.
