I would never stay at this Hotel again. The staff at reception very rude. We requested if we can be checked in bit earlier then 2:00pm but they purposly made us wait & gave the keys exact 2:00pm. The hotel was not at all full. Once we checked in the the floors were all dirty, rooms not vacummed, water blocked... more

Despite some initial reservations concerning service, all that I can say is that we had no such problems. Staff seemed efficient & helpful. Our late initial arrival all went to plan and a last minute change to the booking went without a hitch. Nice modern complex & facilities. Loved the apartment. Great place & good value. more

We found the Artique to be a fantastic place to stay. We could gladly move in. We were aware they are apartments and were happy to buy I own Washing powder, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper exc... The Artique is a good place to stay, great sized apartment, everything in the kitchen you need, close to the beach and Cavill Ave. The pool, gym, sauna and BBQ areas are excellent. The service though was very rude and abrupt. Most requests seem to hard to be actioned by reception. Was also annoyed that there was no extra toilet... more

We were "greeted" by a snarly woman at the front desk. Everything was too hard. It obviously was however as it took forever to process us. She did not want to answer questions and we were disgusted by her attitude. The rooms however were great. Very comfortable and well apointed. Tastefully furnished and new. The manager? (the middle aged woman and I use that term loosely with dark hair) was a very nasty piece of work. Very very rude to all guest and really would be suited to a a job where she has no customer contact. I guess it must be the norm up on the Gold Coast as customer does not exist... more

I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment for one week. Very modern and clean with everything you need. Down the road from the beach and about a 10 minute walk to Cavill Ave. Also close to bus stop which goes to theme parks and shopping centre. Pool and spa area very nice. Would stay here again! more

the artique resort is an apartment style accomodation, great location, good facilities and very modern. we rented a car so it was a good base as the resort is close to pretty much all the attractions. for travellers who like a personal touch and a 24hour reception i wouldn't recommend the artique resort as reception is only open for part... more
