Its cool to do something different and underground camping i for sure didnt do before. The couple who runs the place is a bit older and gives a tour every night through the mines. For only $5 so thats good. It was nice it was ok.

Slightly out of town but provides genuine underground camping experience. Great hospitality including mine tour given my Rick, great guy and experienced opal miner. Camping underground provides a cool temperature and peaceful atmosphere. Discount vouchers for the thriving metropolis of Coober Pedy provided upon check in. Clean bathroom, easy parking, don't forget your head torch.
So glad that we picked Riba's - out of town a little, quite and friendly. It was very safe to leave the caravan and site see. The mine tour was very good. Had a look at the underground accom. very nice and of course cool. Kitchen & bathroom ammen. very nice. We are all long way from the comforts of...

Barbara gave us a wonderful welcome...

The camp site is very well keep for cooper pedy on arrival our first impressions at reception are a bit sad No warm fuzzys here
Stayed here on a whim and really enjoyed it. Double rooms are sparse (you are underground!) but comfy. Kids really got a kick out of it! Barbara gave us heaps of info on what to do and see and where to eat, and Rick's tour was quite informative.
