A quiet comfortable bed and breakfast with fascinating decor. Stan was a wonderful host who guided us on the 'must see' places in Melbourne enabling us to fill our short stay at Glendalough. The frequent trams were a short walk away enabling us to travel around easily and Stan collected us from the airport and took us back which is... more

Thanks to some excellent reviews on Trip Advisor, I thought I'd book an overnight stay at the Glendalough on my way to a conference in Adelaide. What a wonderful evening and morning I spent with my hosts. I highly recommend this B&B for friendly and courteous service, lovely rooms and great location (in the "burbs"but that has to be part... more

Would have loved to stay longer & chat to our hosts more - the eclectic decor only hints at a well travelled life. At the airport the next day my 8 year old suddenly piped... more

Period home with fantastic hosts that are a wealth of information and unbelievably accomodating. Great rooms and outstanding breakfasts and availability of extras. Close to tram lines a great local pub and the Victoria Market. The value for the accomodation is unbelievable. Near to parks, bike trails and an easy drive to the airport. more

Stan and Tony are wonderful hosts. They truly bring hospitality to a new level. We stayed in the very comfortable Scroll Room for 5 days, and we were absolutely delighted that we decided to stay at Glendalough. Stan and Tony welcomed and looked after us with sincere generosity. The house is an architectural gem, and the neighborhood is lovely, with... more
