we have just returned from 3 days and nights staying at the latrobe studio apartments. on first look upon entering we thought it was a bit small, but after looking around and saw how clean they were and well equipped we relaxed .very comfortable bed, lovely clean fluffy towels, good air-con. fantastic location, we walked everywhere, didn't hear any street... We had a very nice stay at Melbourne Studio Apartmernts , room was ver clean , well located hotel for us to get to the football , The staff were very helpfull and friendly , will be back when the next game is on fro sure

Great facilities, nice and clean and new. Good pricing, and service was fantastic. Tram stop at our door step, and right in the heart of the city as stated. Will definitely stay again.

Our apartment was on Latrobe Street, in front of the free citytram station. Concerning the entrance, it is pretty concealed, between an internet cafe and a karaoke bar.The room is self-contained, including usual utensils, microwave and stove. The management was told by this guest that she would most probably put her comment on TripAdvisor, but we did not think she would as she was not the original person who booked the accommodation. I stayed at this apartments with my 2 female friends for 3 nights in March 2011. We booked through a popular online booking website, and had a great deal. This apartment is self-contained. Our response to this guest's comment is as follows: This property has been described as a heritage building on our website. There are restrictions governing structural changes or works in such buildings, and generally it is not possible to install works like central air conditioning.
