Stayed with the family (2 Adults, 2 Children) on a Friday night. Good location opposite the Treasury gardens, close to the theatre and top end restaurants. It was about a 10 min walk through the gardens to the MCG for us on the Saturday. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms are modern and beds & linen very comfortable. The... More

My partner and I recently stayed at MMTG as we were in town for a sporting event. Great location, close to restaurants, public transport and a nice walk to the stadiums. The hotel car park is TINY! Luckily I have a small car, but I would be nervous to park anything bigger. They also charge $30 per night. The first... More

The room decor was appealing and the bed was really comfortable. It was nice and quiet which was great for sleeping. The tv did not work though and there was no hair dryer in the room. We didn't have time to have the tv fixed and I had to leave with wet hair which is not a good look. The... More

Our stay at the Hotel was excellent, the service was fantastic and I really like the fact that children under 16 stay free when with adults as not many other hotels offer this (it is usually 12 and under). Location was good especially if going to the footy at MCG or an event at Rod Laver Arena. Will definitely stay... More

Quiet location. Easy access to all sporting venues. City circle tram at the door. Opposite beautiful parklands, with great views and outlook. Staff were very helpful and eager to please. Restaurant serving food all day and late night with snacks available st reasonable pricing. Room service also available sand good selection.

Great staff, lovely room with view over gardens, everything fine. Felt for staff who were run off their feet when we booked in Sat pm. Thought there would have been someone at the front doors to assist them a little.

Ideally situated for central Melbourne business and tourist attractions. Very good value for money. A pity that the entrance is up several steps which with luggage or for mobility challenged guests is not user friendly. Limited non paying Wi Fi only available in the reception area, otherwise paying in the rooms.

As a Melbourne native, i've never stayed in the CBD overnight before (unless you count the winter sleepout...). Knowing Melbourne well I chose the location because it provided everything I wanted close by, good food, the gardens, the views of great Melbourne attractions, Collins St shopping, the cinemas, the theatres and public transport. The rooms were a little small but... More

Stayed here for the long week end ideal location to walk to AAMI park for the storm game. Purchased the upgrade to the balcony room which was lovely, would be ideal if the balcony door actually opened but you can't have everything I assume. Check in was rather a mess, our room was not ready at 2pm and we were... More
