This was our second stay at the Stamford Plaza....this time we were on the top floor in a 2 bed suite.
Room was spacious and very well equipped-we even had 2 full bathrooms which was fantastic as we were a group of girls!
I booked on Wotif as a mystery deal-was pretty easy to tell which hotel it was before...

A friend and I stayed for 3 nights 20-23 Jan 12 and selected the Stamford Plaza basically because our normal hotel on Swantson St was booked out and once I scanned WOTIF and other websites the Stamford seemed the better hotel with what we were after.
Overall a pleasant stay but it wasn't looking that way, we arrived about 10am...

This is a good hotel in a fantastic location right in the centre of the CBD. We stayed in a suite room in for a couple of nights and the quality of the room was excellent. Staff were pleasant and professional. Have stayed in a few hotels in the CBD of a similar standard and would choose this over them.

Pro: Well located on the north/tennis end of the CBD. Fantastic staff and an upgrade to a Penthouse suite made for a special stay. Great deal on the web. Would give 4 1/2 stars if possible.
Con: A/C hard to adjust. Hotel slightly dated.
