Like the Mercure Hotel it was very handy to downtown and britomart as we were travelling to Wellington the next day by train. I was disappointed with the room size. Didn't mark on service as we arrived late and left early in the morning to catch train.

The hotel location is excellent, being right beside Britomart train and bus station, the ferry terminal and cruise ship terminal. Heaps of restaurants and bars wihin 2-3 minutes walk. Hotel itself had comfortable rooms with comfy bed. Good heating and quiet.

TV remote sensor is a pain and did not work as the sensor keep falling down.. Just plain cheap and nasty for your Standard of Hotel. Are real disappointment. And this review requiring at least 200 characters is also not a good idea.

Location is great. Walking distance to Viaduct. The only comment I would make is to have more than one spare pillow available. The staff are so friendly and always have a smile. The service was good. Hotel location in city center is quite good. Room cleanliness up to the standard. Hotel staff also very friendly and helpful. Will come back to stay in future and recommend to friends or relatives.

bathroom was filthy (tiles mouldy, bath not clean and ?? under toilet) Heating did not seem to work? When sky tv was stated thought it would have at least one movie channel great service from the desk

Hotel is in desperate need of upgrading. The lobby looks good so we think the rest must look good too, you think you stay in something nice but as soon you step out the lift you in for a shock. When you look on the website the rooms look nice , so this is false advertisement.
