when you check in, ask for a map and directions to "eat street" (unofficial name). this "street" is a pedestrian mall with lots of yummy restaurants. also, i spent a few extra dollars on a room with a whirlpool tub, which made my husband very happy. :)

This is a good place to live with. However, just like most of NZ houses, the walls are a bit thin, so you can hear what the next doors doing, and they probably can hear you. It will be unfortunate for you if you have a crying bady next door.

Very sympatic owners. Rooms are big and clean. No noise from the main street / highway - you can sleep relaxed after your daily trips. Would book it again. Thank you. No luxury, but it is not necessary, there is so much to look and visit in and around Rotorua, right?!

Stayed for four nights to mountain bike in Redwood Forest. Lovely little balcony with table and chairs. Good parking. Good size rooms. Great location. Free wired internet. We stayed here just this weekend past for the Kapa Haka Nationals. 6 of us and the trip and stay was perfect, close to every thing and you couldnt ask for a better host. I will definetly stay here again.

Lovely little place. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking. Free wired internet. Sizeable rooms. Good facilities including mircowave, fridge, decent sized TV, spa, towel heater. Slightly away from town centre but really not that much an issue if you've driven there. Would definitely come back here.
