I had this hotel recommended to me by a local. It did not let me down. We were a big party and booked 5 rooms. They were all fantastic. I cant wait to go back soon and next time I shall not leave the room....except to eat at Punkawalla.

We stayed here for the weekend whilst attending a wedding at near by Tupare gardens. Fantastic location and hospitality. Excellent value of money. Great location for a romantic get-a-way. Incredible views and relaxed setting. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back for sure.

The only fault at this lodge is the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. The location, views, accomodation are all outstanding, but the lack of A/C did spoil it for us a bit. A good tip is to take your own breakfast food so you can eat it outside on the verrandah just outside the lodge overlooking the river.
