We were three families including 5 children 10 months to 5 years. We had three apartments and it was fantastic, the pool complex was perfect. Very centrally located. Would definitely stay there again.

My family and I have stayed at The Reef every summer for the last 5 years, and it is always excellent. It's right across the road from the beach, and the level 3 and 4 apartments all get great views of the water. You couldn't find somewhere better to holiday at the Mount. We stayed at The Reef Apartments in Mt Maunganui over the New Year period. Four of us (two adults, two children aged 4 and 9 years) stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the top level (4).
