“noisy..”

Nice unit, warm after we set up all the heaters on full blast- freezing when we got in. Unfortunately this unit -5 is not sound proof at all... Noise of the street behind and the idiotic neighbour's in front of the unit screaming and blasting their music till 4.30 in the morning did not make for a great sleep. Location... More

Thank you for your review, RuralLady_13. I am sorry that you were disturbed by noise. Most earlier reviews say they had no problem with noise, however it is unacceptable for neighbours to making noise at 4am! The City Council operate a very effective noise complaint service, and had we known about this we would have taken action. Kind regards, Jeff More

Comfortable little cottage. Warm, welcoming. The bed/ pillows/ linen- top quality and really comfortable Great location- close to cuba street and a very short walk to Lambton Quay Jeff was very friendly... thanks heaps

“Perfect little cottage in a great location”

We found City Cottages to be perfect and ideally situated. They are close to the motorway for access to Hutt Valley or Porirua and it is an easy walk to the CBD. “Fantastic location and charming cottage”

We loved staying here - the cottage is beautifully presented and spacious for such a central location. Great for a family (we were two couples and two toddlers and there was still plenty of room inside and out for the little ones to play). Jeff is lovely to deal with and we really enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you!

Situated right on Cuba St, the cottage is a nice comfortable place to stay, and very much central. This is a great positive. We are glad you had a great stay! We provide full servicing weekly for guests making longer visits or can arrange daily service on request. However, most guests prefer privacy and the ability to come and go without being affected by cleaning. More
