Great welcome and host makes up for a few shortcomings, and maybe I'm getting fussy! Rooms very spacious and clean, bathroom and kitchen pretty dated but everything works. Good bed too. If you're a light sleeper there is lots of ambient noise from nearby road and rail yards. Overall good value for money, don't expect flash or corporate

We stayed here before we flew back to the UK. It was very comfortable, good size, and well equipped. The unit was clean. Towels were white, soft and great. Owners were very friendly and wifi cheap.

The Classique Lodge Motel is in a very handy location in Christchurch. The Warehouse, Mad Butcher, Bakery place, Kosco (Asian supermarket), Veggie Market is across the road.
