this was our first hotel in the many list of our NZ adventure..and it was a fantastic and beautiful start. the cottage like hotel was absolutely warm despite the rainy and cold weather. the rooms were large and absolutely clean and neat. their breakfast was delicious especially their warm pancakes. loved every bit of our stay there.

Ideal stop over close to local pubs and restaurants and able to walk into the cbd area or what's left. .close to airport with on site free parking and reasonable priced wifi. Room was good size and separate bedroom. Laundrette on site takes tokens from reception. Look out for the heartland sign if your driving yourself as the Cotswold sign... More

Centrally located. Room was large with separate bedroom and a kitchenette. Bathroom has a very small stall shower. Most fixtures quite dated. Unique exterior. Not many other amenities, no A/C. Not cheap. Staff was friendly.

We stayed here in February 2013. The rooms/suites had plenty of space and were comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. No net curtains, lacking privacy. Restaurant was very good, excellent menu choice.
