We had a powered camp site. Spaces camped and virtually no privacy. Queue for showers. Facilities tired. Office for booking in very busy but efficient. We found the best thing was the ability to walk up the sand dunes to the beach, which was ten minutes walk from the site.

The title says it all. The place doesn't look good at all. It has a very strange theme & the rooms had a strange chemical smell mixed with curry and carpet cleaner. I camped here for two nights, it´s nice located near the beach and bus stop in front, also a little shop with food available, laundry, big kitchen and showers. It´s a bit shabby though and it sucks that everything closes down at 10pm so you have no communal room after that.

Stayed in a powered camp site. It was situated close to the kitchen. Kitchen was large and well appointed. The showers had great pressure and were free to use. A bonus was free wifi.....something other Kiwi campgrounds should embrace. Very close to the beach. Overall an enjoyable place to stay.

The location of this site is excellent - easy to get into Dunedin itself, close to some attractions and great access to the Otago Peninsula. The site itself is okay. The staff do what they need to and the facilities are adequate. Can be difficult to find but we didn't feel there was much else after seeing other sites.

We didn't really take to Dunedin, altho' a lot of people do like it. Basically used this site as a quick stop over. We stayed her with two small children in january. We booked a two bedroom motel, but we got a three bedroom motel. It was quite a new unit, with a great kitchen and bathroomfacilities. Just amazing!
