The rooms are great with everything you need, a modern heat pump and decent shower pressure are big points! Nice and comfortable for relaxing in the evenings. Daryl was an absolute lifesaver this morning when my taxis didn’t arrive on time, leaving me with 10 minutes to get to the airport! He walked out of the office at 0530 to get on his way to work, and didn’t blink an eye when I asked him for help getting there. Made my flight with 2 minutes to spare - this is the kind of hospitality that is genuine and exceptional. I couldn’t recommend Lee and Daryl’s place more.

Older style motels currently being renovated. New heatpump, neutral decor and very clean. Beds cosy and safety latches on all windows. Lovely large dinner table with matching chairs for cosy meals in. Well worth the money spent. So comfortable I have booked two more nights. Warm, friendly welcome by lovely owners.

Not the cheapest motel but it's worth the money clean and tidy good size sitting room and kitchenette with cooker and a microwave comfy separate bedroom. Desided to stay for two nights just a 15 minute walk to the main shops and it's a 7 minute walk to the Richardson museum and a 25 minute walk in the other direction to the motorbike museum.

The owners Lee & Darryl are THE most helpful people you will ever meet in the motel industry. WE stayed here for 4 weeks looking for housing to live in. The motel is set up perfectly for us with a small but well equipped kitchen and large bedroom , great tv with sky satelite and very good wi-fi. Would recommend to anyone.

Great place to stay. My unit was at the rear of the property, clean and comfortable. Every amenity (including TV in the lounge and another in the bedroom, kitchen with stove and microwave, comfortable lounge. Great parking, plenty of space and neighbours were quiet. Hosts very pleasant and helpful - but not intrusive. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

I felt like I was sharing the complex with the British travelling family - the notorious one. Noisy bogan vehicles coming and going til quite late, the other guests were odd - not sure if they are guests or residents but I have never stayed in a place with other guests like it and I have stayed in many motels. When booking through Booking.com it was not clear that this was a place that allowed pets - I would not have stayed had I realised that. Dishes in the cupboard were dirty and the place hadn’t been vacuumed plus stuff from the previous guests was in the fridge. All left me feeling queasy. On top of that the place was $145 a night for one person which is quite steep taking in to account all of the above and the fact that it is quite dated. The woman who greeted me was, however, lovely. Pity the rest of the experience didn’t live up to it. On reflection I would have preferred to pay a little more and feel safer rather than living in the middle of a bunch of people that didn’t leave me feeling particularly safe.

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate your comments and are sad that your experience wasn't up to our usual standard. We urgently reviewed our cleaning practices following your email, as were disappointed that our own expectations haven't been met either. Kindest regards your hosts.
