Location is on the outskirts of town. There was good water pressure in the showers and there was a decent kitchen area. It didn't seem like there was much other amenity at the park. It's a short stay place.

Avoid at all costs Not what it seems on the website Stayed here which is described as 5 mins from city - well if you had a helicopter it would be. It is outside Invacargil and a permanent site for many caravans of varying size and conditions some very large and new and some very old and in need of repair. There also appear to be ‘cabins ‘ or ‘units’ to rent which also had seen better days. Toilets and showers are very basic with bare concrete floors and freezing cold! There was a hand towel provided in the sink area whilst the Covid pandemic has lessened there are many infections that can be passed on - scabies for one serious skin condition from using a towel which has been used by an infected person there should be paper towels or hand dryers. Road noise a problem. Upon arrival we were directed to a small plot next to a ‘unit’ and told that if we go out to put a traffic cone ‘to protect our space’ that realty said it all and we should have left then. Upon our arrival (17.00) outside the kitchen was a rucksack some shoes and a tree branch with a youngish chap inside - looked like he was about to cook a meal many hours later he was still there rucksack and stuff still outside sitting in the dark added to the unsettling feeling we got about the site we stayed 1 night instead of 2 and left early the next morning never to return. My feelings are that this is a permanent site for locals and every now and again unsuspecting holidaymakers stay and are crammed in anywhere they can.…

Called up last minute to book a room which was no problem. Made easy for us to check in late in the evening by the very friendly owner. Kitchen and bathrooms very clean. Stayed in a double room which was good value for money.

Someone was there to meet us when we arrived, in a beautiful setting with a duck pond surrounded by a high trimmed hedge as a windbreak, providing privacy and a noise barrier from traffic. Free toilets with unlimited hot water, powered site for $36 for NZMCA members, dump station, kitchen, lounge, level gravel sites, friendly and helpful staff, free WIFI, highly recommended.

Only stop overnight and stay at this place, it was really good. The site provides different type of accommodations, from tent sites, camper van sites, units, all with shared bathrooms and toilets as well as shared kitchen and laundry. The kitchen was spacious and good, it has a barbeque room so visitors can bring own food and do BBQ here. It is not at the city centre of Invercargill, approx. 7km from city centre, but is really quiet at night with spacious outdoor open space. Unit was OK and good, beds were comfy, and owner/ manager was welcoming and helpful, and all come at affordable prices.

This camp is a credit to its operators. Situated in a quiet area but so close to the city it was the ideal choice for a 3 night stay. The facilities are spotlessly clean and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for consideration by Motorhome travellers like ourselves. Gary and Maureen Major Hamilton

A nice quiet and clean campsite. Not far from the centre of Invercargill but you’ll need to drive there. Showers 🚿 were good and laundry facilities to. A duck 🦆 pond included and Mike’s zoo too! Make sure you book beforehand especially in the peak season otherwise you’ll be disappointed ☹️
