The hotel is located overlooking the beautiful Te Anau lake. The room was nice and comfortable but without any view of the lake. The staff at the reception was nice and allowed us an early check-in. The Real Journey's booking office for the Glow Worm's tour is just 10 mins walk. Value for money.

Excellent budget place. Appears slightly old and tired but you cannot fault the cleanliness, great value breakfast and super friendly staff. All very efficient and in 5 minutes walking distance from the centre. Recommend the Moose nearby for a game of pool!

The food was good. Room clean. Friendly staff. The only downside is no lifts in the building - but, it is only the groundfloor and one flight of stairs up.
