The TV screen was fixed to its support facing the bed and could not be directed to face the 3-seater provided, so we watched the programs with images at an angle (fading colors). Perhaps TV screens with a swivel base... More

This was our second trip to the Hunter Valley. We love it! The best part is it's a very grown up destination - no kids - no teenagers - fantastic!! Everything is clean, streamlined and beautiful. Our room was lovely with a little courtyard and a glass ceiling in the bathroom - which was a real treat, it rained while... More

We stayed for a long weekend to see Rod Stewart at the Hope Estate. Very friendly staff, very clean spacious rooms, house keeping was great, extra towels, etc. In walking distance to wineries, Hunter Valley Gardens, and the village. Great restaurant and bar (although the service in restaurant was very slow) food was excellent. The only negatives were I requested... More

I must confess we didn't spend much time in the hotel as we were busy doing some wine tasting. The hotel was everything you could need for a lovely weekend away. I would... More

Stayed in the Hunter Valley with my husband for a few nights before Christmas. We had been to the hotel before just popping in for coffee and said that it was so lovely that we would have to return to stay. We had a lovely room with an outside area, which went onto a path towards the swimming pool (which... More

Very conviently located, like the room, especially the sunken bath tub. Unfortunately, the room does not provide bubble bath. Was initially apprehensive about the restaurant after reading many review, but the 3 course dinner turn out satisfactory. Was disappointed that the Breakfast was not given a 50 per cent for 2 pax. Bacon was very fatty and not cripsy enough.... More
