we arrived in port macquarie at late night so the possibility for late-check-in was perfect! great staff, great rooms, big and clean kitchen - nothing bad to say. stayed there for 3 nights and we were happy with everything about this hostel! can only recommend it:))

Fab place to visit..Port Macquarie is beautiful..this accomodation was ideal..nice staff..facilities were fine..rooms could do with updating v warm no aircon..easy to walk everywhere..pick up from greyhound station free...internet..vending machines fab ..

Very relaxed vibe... Got a pool,pingpong tv room ,pool table airhockey ,PARROT and you surf most mornings... Never bored .. Wifi $10 A WEEK good value .. 2nd best back packers I've stayed in.. .. My girlfriends fussy and she gave it 5 outta 5 .. Good rates aswell

The rooms, the bathrooms and the kitchen are nice and clean. They just renovated the bathrooms so that everything is looking very modern aswell. The staff can't do enough to help you, the dorms are immaculate, bathrooms perfectly clean, common areas fantastic, great tv room and loads of DVDs and books, kitchen is great and cleaned twice a day! Booked for 2 nights and ended up staying almost a week, beautiful place, beautiful pool, great staff, all really friendly ended up chatting to them almost every night! Phill is a character, infact all the staff were! Best hostel me an my gf stayed in so far, would go back 100% , miss it alot! Thanks guys and girls

Stayed for one night in October 2012. We enjoyed our stay and it was nice to join in the sing song/guitar session in the evening. The hostel was very relaxed and the service was very good.
