Booked several rooms at this motel for various family members attending a wedding in Bendigo recently. We arrived early and were able to check-in to our rooms straight away. The process was easy, professionally executed and friendly. Our hostess gave me some information that allowed us to incorporate a visit to the Pottery, Chinese Museum and Joss House. The rooms... The room was comfy/clean and during some very hot days the aircon worked extremly well.Which is important when away from home. The pool was seviced/clean and was a great releive... More

We stayed last night in the family suite and found it to be clean tidy and excellent value for money. The breakfast was huge and we happily fed the resident pet golden retriever the left overs. The owners made us feel welcomed and our stay was restful and enjoyed by all.The kids especially loved the pool and basketball court. Would... More

I stayed at the Allara Motor Lodge in December 2012 and found it uncomfortable, due to the insufficient air conditioning in the family sized unit in which I stayed. Yes, it was during summer but the weather was not scorching and if you pay for air conditioning it is reasonable to expect it is effective. The unit layout had the... More

Stayed for 1 night and found the place very clean. Rooms are dated and have quite thin walls but are adequate for the cost. It is quite some distance from main area but this wasn't an inconvenience.

For someone travelling alone, finding a friendly place on a very cold evening really is important, and Allara was perfect. Very friendly reception, and a warm, cosy room with everything one requires. I felt safe and very content here and thoroughly recommend it.

We recently stayed here for 2 nights in a family room and were pleased with the accommodation. Plenty of space, can sleep 6, with all you could need. Was clean with a fridge, couch, tv, comfy beds and room to move. The rooms were a bit dated but were still well maintained, functional and comfortable. The grounds contain a pool,... More

We happened upon this motel late at night. Despite the late hour, the owner was friendly and very accommodating. This is a budget hotel and therefore very reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, no road noise and the room contained a wall mounted flat screen television, air conditioner, fridge, iron and ironing... More
