A relaxing trip and great way to see the river. We were fortunate that the weather was perfect. It was not crowded andwe had plenty of room to move around the steamer. We were glad we didn't opt to have a meal as this allowed us to concentrate on the scenery rather than the food.

This was our second trip on the Emmylou. We find the Emmylou the most beautiful paddle wheel steamer on the Murray River at Echuca. The one hour trip is an enjoyable, informative and a relaxing way of seeing the river banks and the reconstructed wharf, the old wharf was dismantled a few years ago. Outside the port area we don't... More

We did the Overnight Cruise ( dinner bed and breakfast ) we have done it 10 year ago It was quite layed back, but not in a bad way, the weather was on our side being the end of May ( Cold but No wind ). The food was really good considering there were only 4 staff ( captain, the... More

We enjoyed the 1.5 hour lunchtime cruise and it was excellent. The food was good, we had a pizza and meat / cheese platter and a couple of glasses of wine. It was a beautiful autumn day, and all was well in the world. Thanks for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The boat is beautiful, the river trip is okay, the price seems to be getting up there but is probably the same as the other river boats but the food is disgusting. We were really looking forward to the lunch cruise but due to having a big breakfast decided to just have some drinks and the cheese platter to share... More

We had parents in town for Xmas who were interested in going on a paddle steamer. Not really something we would have chosen to do ourselves as we are usually disappointed by the food associated with this type of offering. We chose the Emmy Lou as we were told that it was the only authentic steam engine. We used the... More

We went for a trip on the paddle steamer mid week and there only around 15 people inboard. It was very relaxing we had a nice time. The only problem was the poor quality o the food. We went at lunch and where wanting to have lunch onboard, there was little option for food. The meal was not included in... More
