We stayed for just two nights recently and couldn't have asked for more. The apartments are a short walk from the main street and the beach, and a supermarket and fantastic video shop are just 2 minutes away. (Malcolm and Judy also have films available for you to watch for free) We stayed in a studio on the ground floor.... More

We got bumped from another apartment who double booked us, so ended up here. Rooms were a bit dated but were super clean. Staff were helpful and the place had a good feel. Pool was small but again clean. We will be back, but stay longer next time. No complaints.

Stayed at Sandpiper Holiday Apartments for two nights en-route to Sydney on a road-trip with the family. Found it to be a very clean, well cared for accommodation with very attentive and most helpful owners. Slightly dated but everything worked. It has a split unit air-conditioning and flat screen in the living area, separate wash room and nice outside area... More

We booked via the tourist office, as usual, as we hadn’t a clue where to go and we’d found a lot of SE Australia’s coastal motels are aging with worn brown stained doors and old white goods, as this set of apartments was. However, it was spotless, very helpful owners and loads of facilities. We had a fully equipped kitchen,... More

Travelled with two kids aged 4 & 7, we had a two bedroom apartment which was large enough to be comfortable. Kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, pots & pans ... a washing machine in the the bathroom. Iron & ironing board provided. The owners live on-site in a house adjacent to the accommodation units & are always around and happy... More

The Sandpiper provides everything you would need but at a pretty basic level. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment which had 1 double, and 2 twin rooms (we had to push our beds together as my parents were in the double room, our children stayed in the other twin room). The decor was very 'interesting'... but the apartment was... More

Just 300m from the footbridge this fastidiously maintained establishment is within walking distance of supermarket, cafes, barber, video hire & Internet access. Late 70s decor tastefully updated. Everything works including air conditioning. Can't speak too highly of it...
