Okay. What Olembia has going for it is charm. I very much enjoyed my five nights here. It is very handy for the tram into town. The manager is extremely helpful and nice. The showers and kitchen were kept clean. There is a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, and it felt very safe. I would highly recommend this place. More

Our extended stay at Olembia was like a home away from home. The staff were very friendly, genuine and informative. The fully equiped, clean kitchen was a dream to cook in, even when in use by other guests. Initally booked in for two nights & eventually left after two weeks. Hostel was spotless & well maintained, kitchen facilities were good and Staff were very friendly and very accomodating. Great location in St Kilda and tram ride to melbourne city centre. This was a hostel with character & would definitely stay again. More
