This is a lovely park, 8 kiln outside Warrnambool, lovely layout, manicured sites, kids playground, indoor pool and spa, tennis court, gym, table tennis, computer games, beautiful clean toilet facilities, 2 minutes drive to boat ramp. The thing that sticks with me is that whilst standing at reception with a family we were told everything other than 1 bedroom cabins were booked, when we walked around the site there were a number of empty family cabins. And the air conditioner was barely able to turn"icecold" to "very cold".

The Hopkins caravan park is a great park with many activities for younger children. We travelled as a group of adults and I would not recommend it as it is a by family orientated park. The park is as described and is clean, the pitches however are on the small side with little privacy or shelter. The swimming pool is very small and in peak times is inadequate for the number of guests. Otherwise, the park is great for kids with a good mini golf course (free) and play area. this park was excellent, it was about 10kms from Warrnambool CBD, but we did not mind. situated right on the Hopkins River, with clean amentities and beautiful grassed sites, out in the middle of Dairy country, and accepts dogs which is a bonus
