I found the service at the Lord Forrest Hotel in Bunbury beat the service at the Crown Metropol Melbourne. I had a business trip to both and the Food at Lord Forrest and the Room Service beat the Crown Metropol hands down! Big mention for Clinton and his excellant manner! Recommend the strudel!!!!!!

Hotel has huge potential but clearly is lacking care or willingness to insert some much needed funds. I found the staff to say it as nice as possible not interested in there job (not all but most on reception) by that a little enthusiasm can go a long way for a customer. The room we had was very very average just the basics.. For $ 259 a night it was very disappointing. Although the continental breakfast was fantastic so it kind of made up for the sparseness in the room. There was an all night nightclub not far so we heard a lot of noise all night.

The Lord Forrest has seriously passed it's prime. Once the 5 star flagship of Bunbury acommodations, it is in dire need of some tlc. Our last stay was an over priced and very bland experience. Noise was a serious issue and the internet... not even worth using. Sadly this will be our last stay

Good service by the staff all around, very engaging and prompt in their service. Was in Bunbury for a wedding, and loved the on site undercover parking they provided. We have been here several times. Although the property is old it is always clean, the staff are great, the parking is secure at no extra charge and it is in the main street within walking distance of all the eateries. I have stayed in far worse in major capital cities, highly recommend.
