What a lovely backpackers/lodge, straight across from the ocean, set on a huge piece of land. The accommodation is well set out with 8 twin/double rooms, lovely clean bathroom facilities, and a very welcoming comfortable lounge area. We were there for a 50th and what a venue, very accommodating.

nice location,nice room, nice lounge,nice kitchen,I feel the time being frozen when stay there. the trip in NZ is wonderful,and old bones made me memorable.

We only spent one night in this backpackers. Did not feel at all like budget accommodation. Great bed, great heating, great kitchen, great internet, warm living-room. The rooms were a bit small (2 of us, 3 bags...). For that price, we would have enjoyed a private ensuite bathroom. The bathrooms were a bit far away from the bedrooms.
