The resort is at least a 2 hour ride from Panama City on a highway that people walk across so be careful driving out. Also, the turnoff from the highway is a dirt road for at least a mile before it turns back into pavement. There are several signs for the JW Marriott which makes it easy to find now... More

Spent a week here. Lovely spot, extremely quiet, great pools, ocean rough for swimming. This resort is in an upscale community so not like the regular type of resort. Food is a la carte. Take a day trip to el Valle de Anton to see more true Panama.

Just returned from a short trip. Beatiful hotel, great room and wondersful service, May get a bit boring for a long stay as beyong the hotel there no where to go, and food options are quite limited. For a short stay, to relax and be pampered its just amazing!

GREAT STAY!!! Various restaurants to pick from. Prime Steakhouse was fabulous. Very relaxing week. Service was a bit slow but people were extremely nice. You do have to take a 5 minute walk to the beach, as the hotel is NOT waterfront. But the pools at the beach were really clean and not so crowded considering it was Holy Week.... More
