We only stayed a couple of nights here before setting off to the Whitsunday's. The staff were brilliant. We had a good laugh with them every night. I have spent three days in this fantastic hostel!!! It was clean, in a good position and the owner and the reception were kind. The atmoshere was good and happy. I have travelled with my friends and you can book the excursions directment in the hostel.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend in a 4-share dorm room. The place is relaxed and clean, rooms have A/C and some shelves for storing which was nice. stayed for 5 days in april 2013, really loved the place cool and chilly place. thar is a good pool, clean kitchen very nice staff especially izzy and audrey . she's amazing!! 5m from the main streat. great dorm rooms with only 4 ppl in each room.

Really nice hostel, its got a cozy nice atmosphere. Friendly staff, with probably the best value in Airlie. Has a pool, wifi, free films, good rooms and nightly entertainment. Moved from another hostel to stay here and not disappointed at all.

We had a nice two nights stay at the Backpackers by the Bay. Good location, next to the main street and a bus to pick us up from the Greyhound stop. The staff are friendly. $2.50 for an all you can eat breakfast and you can do laundry.
