We stayed 2 nights at the wardrobe...family of 4 in November 2009. The wardrobe is so warm and cosy that makes us never want to leave. The kitchen is very well equipped, we had great time cooking our meals after a day of driving around Albany. The dining area overlooks the delightful bushland, the bedrooms and bathroom are roomy and... More

Right from the minute you pull up at reception and the owners rush out to meet you and say "follow us!" you know you're going to end up somewhere special. We followed the hotel van around a dirt road until our cottage appeared between the trees. Each of the properties offered by Cape Howe Cottages sits nestled in amongst the... More

We stayed in Abode 9 Apartment in the beautiful seaside town of Albany. Although the exterior of the building isn't much to look at, the moment we stepped through the door, we went "Wow". It feels like a home away from home as the owner had taken great care in furnishing and maintaining the apartment. Quality toiletries were provided and... More

We stayed here in July 2011 and had a great time. We stayed in the Wardroom cottage and were very impressed. Beautiful bush setting, seculded and excellent views from the varandah. The cottage was clean with an excellent kitchen and the hosts have obviously taken time to think of everything you may need for your stay, excellent attention to detail.... More

We stayed in the "King's Den" Cottage. It is a single storey cottage with bush views (don't assume they all have verandahs overlooking the valley, if you want this ask which one is featured in the advertising). It is essentially two 'pods' joined by a walkway. The first pod has the kitchen, dining, living area (with wood fire) and is... More

We love the atmosphere, the peace and quiet, the privacy, the harmony! It is fantastic for a couples retreat. We stayed in the Kings Den and definitely felt like kings!! The hosts are simply amazing and will help with anything! Can't recommend it highly enough! More

Such a beautiful holiday in every way and I agree with all the previous reports on Trip Advisor. Set on an amazing 53 acres of bush and given that we were there over the busy Easter w/e period it was the perfect getway from all the crowds. There is so much attention to detail from the jars of spices to... More

Me and my partner decided to take a trip down south just after new years, we booked a two bedroom cottage and Cape Howe, my partner's sister and her family (husband and two kids) then decided to join us and the owners could not have been more accommodating for us providing a porta cot and fold out bed, the cottage... My Partner and I (with our Huskies) have just had 5 wonderful days at "The Snug" ! This was our second visit and we look forward to our next. The cottage is immaculately clean & well equiped with everything you could possibly need. The cottage is as its named "Snug", cosy and comfortable no matter what the weather. The location... More

We stayed 2 nights in The Wardroom and absolutely loved it and want to go back.. It’s a lovely secluded home, set in amongst the trees. Sipping a glass of red whilst watching the sun go down on the balcony was grand. On the night we arrived, we tried their home made Pizza and Garlic bread it was to die... More
